If you’re heading away on your holidays soon and you’re flying from Gatwick’s South Terminal, you may spot a familiar face as you wait for your flight.

For the next three months, Columbus Direct will be selling travel insurance from new kiosks in the airport’s main atrium - so if you've forgotten to get your travel insurance, there's no excuse to head abroad without it.

The kiosks will enable travellers to instantly buy travel insurance in Gatwick Airport for the first time.

When you enter the lounge at the South Terminal, you'll see the kiosks in the centre of the room, and you can buy your insurance in just a couple of minutes. There's no faffing around on your mobile or hurriedly scrolling through price comparison sites.

Columbus Direct’s Head of Marketing, Alison Wild, is delighted with the launch.

“Forging a path that others have yet to tread is always hard and unpredictable, but sometimes the results are beyond expectation,” she said. “This is a great way of boosting our brand’s promotion, and really emphasises the fact that Columbus is ready to get back to its roots as an innovative market leader in UK travel insurance.”
