What happens if the flight is delayed?

Under the Travel Delay and Abandonment section of you policy, cover is provided if your departure is delayed for at least 6 hours due to strikes/industrial action, mechanical breakdown of the plane, train or boat, adverse weather conditions or traffic flow congestion. To claim, you will need to obtain written confirmation from the airline (or their agent) to show the length of delay, and the reason it occurred.
