Our Single Trip, Annual and Backpacker (Long Stay) policies are available with different levels of cover: For basic medical protection for trips to Europe, we offer a Schengen policy. If you are looking for a more comprehensive benefits package, take a look at our Standard and Premier policies. Ski, Golf and Business Cover can be added as an option to our Standard and Premier policies.
24 hour Assistance Service
Should you require emergency medical treatment or repatriation, our policies provide you with access to 24hr multilingual emergency assistance.

Medical Expenses
Whether it's injury or illness, our policies cover you for both emergency in-patient and out-patient treatment, which includes non-routine prescription charges, consultations and even emergency dental treatment. If it becomes medically necessary to repatriate you back to your home country, then this is covered too.

Cancellation & Curtailment
We will compensate you for any unused accommodation and travel expenses which you lose or incur as a result of having to cancel / curtail your holiday due to certain reasons.
- Trip Abandonment
If you have to abandon your trip due to an accident or mechanical breakdown en route to your departure point, we’ll cover the cost of your holiday.
The excess on Cancellation & Curtailment is US$75 (US$0 with Zero Excess Option).

Missed Departure
If you fail to reach your international departure point on time due to failure of public transport services or due to a mechanical breakdown of the vehicle in which you are travelling to your international departure point, we'll pay for the expenses that you need to make to reach your destination.

Travel Delay
We will offer you financial compensation if your trip is delayed more than 12 hours

Baggage
We cover the loss and theft of and damage to your baggage & personal belongings. We also provide you with an allowance to purchase essential replacement items in the event that your checked-in baggage is delayed for a certain period of time.

Cash & Documents
We cover the cost of replacing your personal documents

Personal Accident
In the event of accidental injury, disablement or death, a lump sum payment will be issued to you or the persons chosen by you.

Personal Liability
We cover accidental damage to third parties (person or property) inflicted by the insured while travelling.

Legal Expenses
If you suffer personal injury, we cover the cost for a juridical procedure / legal advice

Catastrophe
If you are forced to move away from your accommodation as a result of a catastrophe, we'll offer you financial compensation.

Hijack
If your means of transport gets hijacked, we’ll offer you financial compensation

Terrorism Cover
If you need medical treatment or have an accident as a result of a terrorist attack, the Medical and Personal Accident cover will apply provided these benefits are part of your policy. (Please note: there is no Personal Accident cover under the Schengen policy.)

Car Hire Excess Insurance (Collision Damage Waiver)
We will pay for motor insurance EXCESS that you are required to pay in the event of damage to a vehicle under a rental hire car contract.

Business Cover
We cover the loss and theft of and damage to your business equipment and business documents. If you have to cancel / curtail your business trip due to certain reasons, we will pay for the travel expenses of a colleague to replace you at your destination.
- Business equipment: US$ 2,500 (single article limit: US$ 300)
- Business documents: US$ 300
- Replacement colleague travel expenses: US$ 5,000

Ski Cover
Our Ski cover extension protects you and your equipment on your winter sports holidays.
The following winter sports are covered:
Skiing on and off piste (off piste means skiing away from the piste within the resort boundaries with a qualified guide) other than against local authorities' warning or advice, cross country (Nordic) Skiing, Mono Skiing, Ski bobbing, Skidooing, Snow mobiling, blading and snowboarding, curling, tobogganing, outdoor ice skating.
- Winter Sports Equipment - Owned: US$ 500
- Winter Sports Equipment - Hired: US$ 400
- Ski Pack: US$ 400
- Piste Closure: US$ 400

Adventure Sports Cover
We cover many sports and activities as standard*:
Badminton, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Boccer, Boxing Training (No Contact), Canoeing (to rapids grade 3), Cycling (not touring), Dinghy Sailing (inside 20km limit), Elephant Riding (1-2 days), Golf, Hiking, Horse Riding involving the use of protective head gear (but excluding Eventing, Show jumping or taking part in any equestrian competition), Kayaking (to rapids grade 3), Kite Surfing, Marathon Running, Martial Arts training (no contact), Mopeds, Motorcycling on Vehicles under 125CC, Mountain Biking, Overland Expeditions, Rafting (to rapids grade 3), Riversledging, Running, Safari, Sailing inshore (inside 20KM limit), Sea Canoeing, Snorkelling, Squash, Surfing, Table Tennis, Tennis, Trekking (not requiring the use of ropes, guides or oxygen), Water Skiing, Weightlifting.
The following sports and activities are covered with the Adventure Pack cover extension:*
Abseiling, American Football, Ballooning, Bungee Jumping (maximum 2 jumps), Cricket, Deep Sea fishing (inside 20km limit), Fencing, Hanggliding , Flights in a licensed passenger carrying light aircraft or licensed passenger carrying helicopter, Football, Gliding, Gymnastics, Hockey, Jet Boating, Kayaking/Canoeing/Rafting involving white water rapids grades 4 and 5, Parascending, La Cross, Polo, Rugby, Scuba Diving (with a qualified diving instructor to a maximum depth of 30 metres), Windsurfing.
* Personal Liablility cover exclusions apply for ownership, possession or use of vehicles, aircraft, watercraft, parachuting, paragliding, hangliding, hot air ballooning or use of firearms.

Golf Cover
We cover the loss and theft of and damage to your business equipment and business documents. If you have to cancel / curtail your business trip due to certain reasons, we will pay for the travel expenses of a colleague to replace you at your destination.
- Golf equipment: US$ 3,000 (single article limit: US$ 300)
