PLAN FOR THE UNEXPECTED

A senior management consultant was required to stay in Colombia for a few months and took a little time to get accustomed to having a body guard drive him everywhere. Whilst looking for somewhere to live, an estate agent showed them a private property on the outskirts of a town. But he was fearful about the Country's reputation for kidnapping. ‘My family will be staying here for a few weeks, isn't this a bit remote?'

‘Safest place around' Said the estate agent.

‘How come?'

The agent pointed to a large villa fifty metres down the road. ‘It belongs to one of the top drugs barons. Nobody dares interfere with the folks around here.'
