The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) has put together a page with advice and information for people stranded abroad, which can be found here on the FCO site.

There is information for British nationals stranded in Europe, including details of ports and ferry operators.

There is also information on health issues, insurance, visas and what to do if your visa expires and passenger rights.

News relating to airport closures and disruption to flights can also be found here, including confirmation of UK airports reopening at 2200 BST.
