Backpacker travel insurance from Columbus Direct is a very long stay single trip insurance policy. It is different from annual travel insurance as your maximum trip length can be up to 365 days. We cover a wide variety of sports and activities as standard, including scuba diving to 30m, with many more available for a small supplement.

Columbus Direct offers quality travel insurance for those that go travelling for a longer period of time. We offer travel insurance up to 365 days of consecutive travelling.

Our single trip travel insurance policies cover up to 185 days of travelling and is available with various levels of cover. For consecutive travelling up to 365 days, we offer you our globetrotter policy that is ideal for backpackers.
