It’s very simple – even if you’re the most conscientious pet owner in the world, you can’t predict the future – and sometimes, pets become poorly or get involved in accidents. Insurance is the best way of ensuring your pet receives the best care possible, and you’re not saddled with a huge bill from the vet afterwards.
We can offer you the best possible quote for your pet, thanks to our different policies that are tailored to suit you.
This is the amount you must pay towards the cost of the vet fees, if your pet receives treatment. You will pay 10% and we will pay 90%. The amount you owe us will be taken from the claim settlement after the excess has been applied.
This means that you’re covered against third party claims if your pet were to bite/become aggressive towards another person or animal, or cause damage to someone else’s property. Third party cover also takes care of potential costs in the event that the other person was to sue you for your pet’s actions.
Overseas travel cover is part of our bronze, silver and gold policies, and will cover your pet if it’s in a country that is a member of the PETS Travel Scheme for up to 30 days, depending on your level of cover.
If your pet needs treatment abroad, your policy will cover any vet fees – however, please check your policy terms and conditions before you travel. Please note that overseas travel cover is not part of accident only policies.
